Chernyang Lee is a mathematician, former Principal Software Engineer, and speaker exploring a question: as technology becomes more intelligent, how can we become wiser humans? With a PhD in Mathematics and over a decade building sophisticated technology systems, he brings an unusual perspective to our increasingly digital lives. Following a career transition, he began exploring how intentional attention could transform relationships, starting within his own family. Drawing on behavioural science, first-principles thinking, and personal experimentation, he challenges conventional approaches to digital wellbeing: rather than relying on restrictions alone, he explores how people develop awareness, self-regulation, and agency. Through relatable stories, accessible science, and simple experiments, he helps parents and educators reconnect with young people and build healthier relationships with technology.
